Portal login problem

when i try to start the portal , i am getting the error as
"ERROR com.vignette.portal.website.internal - java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.vignette.portal.website.enduser.components.login.PreDisplayLoginAction"
please help...

It is possible that a library in the portal webapp is missing.

thanks for reply ... i just ran all the installers ,i didnt do any deletions...howcome the library will be missed out.

Look into the installation logs. You might find if something has failed
during installation.
1. Check your classpath. If there are conflicting version of JAR's like previous version, installed version. This might lead to
such errors.
Persistence pays, only if you are in the right direction.
